Members & Access¶
The Members & access section of Team Settings is where Team Admins invite people, review who has access, and control what each person can do. Active members and pending invitations appear together in one table, so you always see the full picture of who can reach your team.
The members table¶
Each row is either an active member or a pending invitation, sorted alphabetically by email:
- Member — avatar, display name, and email address.
- Roles — badges showing every User Group the person belongs to.
- Status — Active, with details of when they last logged in (or "Never logged in"), or Invited, with the date the invitation was sent.
- Actions — role and removal controls, described below.
Searching and filtering¶
Above the table you can:
- Search by name or email.
- Filter by Role to see everyone with a particular User Group.
- Filter by Status to show only Active members or only Invited people.
Inviting a new member¶
Team Admins can select Invite people to open a dialog with two fields: the invitee's email address and the roles to assign them. Selecting Send Invitation emails them a link to join the team. An invited person appears in the table immediately, with Invited status, until they accept.
While an invitation is pending, its row offers two actions:
- Resend — sends the invitation email again.
- Cancel — withdraws the invitation.
Editing a member's role¶
Select the edit (pencil) icon on a member's row to open their details. The details page shows their avatar, email, and the date they joined, alongside a form for changing their roles. Select Update Role to save your changes.
You can't edit your own role from this page — only another Team Admin can change it. See User Groups for what each role grants access to.
Removing a member or invitation¶
Select the remove (X) icon on a member or invitation row, then confirm. You can also open a member's details and select Remove from Team (or Leave Team for your own membership). Removing a member revokes their access immediately; they must be invited again to regain it.
Note
A team must always keep at least one Team Admin. If you try to remove the last one, OCS blocks the action until another member is made a Team Admin.
